It should be ok to pour concrete over your gravel walk although you might want to give the concrete a little more depth along the sides.
Once your grid surface is fully clipped together, then you can begin loading 15-20kg of your 10mm-20mm gravel per grid.
No further compacting is needed to get the surface level or to inset the stones.
Once filled, your driveway surface is now ready to be driven over for years to come! #67 Gravel is a crushed blue-gray granite that is dry-screened to measure roughly 3/4″, meaning the actual size of any particular piece will be from 1/2″ to 1″ long.
Stone dust and pea gravel are screened out, giving you an attractive landscaping material with superb drainage qualities.
A commonly used gravel size for driveway base layers is #3 gravel.
This rock is generally 1-2 inches in diameter and does double duty by establishing a solid, reliable foundation and providing adequate drainage; both critical factors in driveway construction.
Landscape fabric is laid over soil and then mulch is layered on top of the fabric.
Landscape fabric also works well beneath gravel, rock, or hardscaping.
It also can be used beneath flower beds or ground cover to reduce weeds and the need for weed control.
